The Sanctuary Five
Welcome to Old Time Southern Gospel Music!
What do a retired machinist, a legal secretary, a retired businessman, a body fitness/wellness expert and a practicing civil attorney have in common? Well, they're all Christians and members of First Baptist Church of Paris, Texas. Also, they love to tell others about Jesus Christ. Most of them belong to the Sanctuary Sunday School class in their church and they also make up a group known as The Sanctuary Five.
As a special program on Double Miracle Day (High Attendance/Offering Sunday) in October, 1998, the Sanctuary Sunday School Class heard this group of Baptists sing about their friend, Jesus, for the first time. Since then the Sanctuary Five has become one of the most popular and sought after gospel singing groups in this area.
They present the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, in song and beautiful piano/keyboard accompaniment. They sing old time southern gospel songs traditionally heard in Baptist, and other Protestant churches, throughout the southern United States. They do not use "canned" tapes or prerecorded accompaniment. The group will be pleased to appear at any Christian meeting (Baptist or otherwise); Civic Clubs, Sunday School meetings, Revivals, Seasonal meetings/parties or any other meeting where Jesus can be presented in this unique manner.
There is no charge, but donations to the work of this ministry will be appreciated.
PLEASE TELL YOUR CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ABOUT THIS SITE OR JUST TELL SOMEONE YOU KNOW WHO FORGOT TO SCHEDULE THE NEXT PROGRAM ! ! ! !
